Founder & Board President

Dr. Sharron D. Credle, Founder and President of URGE Foundation, Inc., is a dedicated educator, entrepreneur, and author, originally from Chicago, IL, and currently residing in southern Maryland with her husband, Minister (Retired Army Major) Ira O. Credle. She also serves as the President & Founder of The Dr. Sharron D. Credle Corporation, which can be explored at www.drsdc-corporation.org. Notably, she is the proud author of "The Dr. S.D.C. Structured Journal"; and two books Mind Your Mind: #Think About It and "Only in Chicago? A Southside State of Mind." Dr. Credle is also the owner of two trademarked logos.
 

With an "occu-passion" for helping people, especially women, Dr. Credle focuses on guiding individuals through self-examination, instilling a sense of worthiness, and building the capacity for meaningful change. She orchestrated the "Woman: Thou Art Great - Women Sharpening Women" Inaugural Conference in 2016, featuring dynamic speakers and engaging activities to empower women on their journey from good to great and great to greater. A portion of the proceeds from the conference is dedicated to supporting local non-profit organizations in alignment with URGE's mission.
 

Dr. Credle boasts an impressive academic background, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Virginia State University, a Master's Degree in Counseling from Longwood College, a Master's Degree in Education Leadership from Fayetteville State University, and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership & Human Resource Development from Nova Southeastern University.
 

Her extensive 37-years of professional and entrepreneur experience includes K-12 Public School Education encompassing roles such as Special Education Teacher, Counselor, Vice-Principal, Supervisor of Special Education and Human Resources, Director of Diversity & Equity, Director of Human Resource Staffing & Operations and Vice President of Organizational Development & Learning. Dr. Credle has also held leadership positions in various professional organizations and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Driven by her faith, Dr. Credle believes in the plans that the Lord has for her, drawing inspiration from Jeremiah 29:11. Her life operates on the foundation of Ephesians 3:20, acknowledging the power that works within us to exceed abundantly above all that we ask or think.
